The governor of this formerly beautiful state mandated that people wear masks in public UNLESS you have a medical condition that was listed. I have such a condition, called COPD. If I wear a mask for very long I get short-winded. I don’t get enough oxygen breathing through a filter.
The mandate isn’t a law, yet it’s enforced as if it was one, and people generally conform to it because they’ve all bought into the bullshit that the masks will keep them from catching the China Plague.
My bank is taking this a step further. I went there to deposit a couple checks today and they had an armed guard at the door who refused to allow me to enter without a mask. I explained that I’m exempt under the state mandate because I have COPD, but he insisted, saying that he works for the bank, not the state, and he has to follow their rules to keep his job.
Okay, I understand that. But this is tyrannical behavior on the part of the bank managers and it’s a denial of my rights. Not just mine, but the rights of everyone with a medical exemption who uses that bank. If I were a person of wealth I’d sue them into the dirt for this crap. I’m not, and though it did piss me off, it’s not worth spending more of my time on than I’m taking to write about it here, and I’m doing this simply to make a point, that private industry has become far too emboldened in their efforts to inflict their spurious ideology on the rest of us.
The masks don’t work. What they do, and do really well, is function as a Petri dish, where bacteria multiply like crazy in that nice, moist, warm environment and end up causing illness instead of preventing it.
Yet that’s just here in the USA. When I read about the draconian rules in the UK and the punishments being meted out for just going out the front door of your house, my bank’s bullshit behavior pales to invisibility in comparison.
I know this is all about profit and control, or I may have that backwards, first control them all through fear and them sell them a vaccine, for profit. Anyone with a brain has that one figured out, and it’s been over a year now since this so-called pandemic started, yet we haven’t seen all the deaths that it was advertised to cause. Instead, every time statistics are released by doctors that show it has a very low mortality rate, suddenly “statistics” are announced by governments of thousands of new deaths. It’s a cycle you could set your clock by.
What it all really is, is tyranny and the only way to deal with it is to ignore it. Don’t wear the stupid masks if you don’t want to, find ways to work around it. That’s what I ended up doing at the bank, I learned the auto-teller can take check deposits, so I did that at the drive-up automated window. Learned something new and didn’t submit to their mask wearing demand.
Eventually this crap should pass and I bet I know exactly when, it will be when everyone realizes that they stopped wearing them in China.
